Direct Fast Truq Blue GL is a blue dye mainly composed of copper phthalocyanine, with excellent physical and chemical properties and very bright color.
Physical and Chemical Properties
1.Solubility
Direct Fast Truq Blue GL is soluble in hot water and can be dissolved in cold water. The aqueous solution is a bright lake blue color, transparent without precipitation.
Direct Blue 86 is insoluble in organic solvents and dissolves quickly. The dyeing process is simple.
Direct Blue 86 has strong alkali stability: pH 7–12 is stable, suitable for alkaline car wash solutions, cleaning agents, etc. (key advantage)
2.Acid-base and ion reactions
Alkaline environment (pH 9–12): No fading, no stratification, no precipitation. Suitable for alkaline systems such as car wash solutions, glass water, etc.
Direct Fast Truq Blue GL reacts with strong acids: slightly changes color, recovers to the original color after dilution.
Direct Fast Truq Blue GL is sensitive to iron ions. It is recommended to dissolve with soft water.
3.Dyeing / Coloring Characteristics
Direct Blue 86 has good affinity for cotton, viscose, hemp, and non-woven fabrics. The 100°C dyeing rate is the best.
Color light: Pure greenish-cyan color, bright and transparent, brighter than ordinary direct blue.
Dyeing rate: Medium, the amount of dark color ≤ 3%, the uniformity is average, the salt addition amount needs to be controlled.

Application Scope of Direct Blue 86
1.Industrial Coloring
Alkaline car wash solutions, glass water, antifreeze: Preferred for alkali-resistant green blue, transparent blue / cyan color

Water-based color pastes, bamboo fiber, electro-aluminum coloring
2.Textile Printing and Dyeing
Direct Blue 86 is used for cyan dyeing of cotton, viscose, hemp, non-woven fabrics, home textiles, knitted products

Direct Fast Truq Blue GL is used for coloring paper (packaging paper, art paper), leather (shoe leather, luggage leather)
Usage Process of Direct Blue 86
Dilution: First, stir and dissolve in 50–60℃ warm water to avoid lumps
Addition amount: 1–5 parts per million (0.1–0.5g/kg), 2 parts per million is sufficient for a transparent and deep blue color
pH control: Neutral to weakly alkaline (pH 8–11), directly add to the car wash solution and stir evenly
Compatibility: Direct Fast Truq Blue GL has good compatibility with non-ionic / anionic surfactants, does not affect foaming
