Product Overview
C.I. Disperse Orange 30, commercially named Disperse Orange S-4RL, is a high-temperature azo disperse dye with balanced and stable performance. As a classic primary orange component for polyester dyeing and printing, it features high tinting strength, pure and full shade, and comprehensive excellent color fastness. It is an essential supporting dye for high-temperature three-primary color disperse dyes, with strong versatility and color compatibility for various synthetic fiber processing.
Core Physical, Chemical and Dyeing Properties
This dye is insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, DMF and aromatic solvents. The optimal pH range of the dye bath is 4-7, achieving the best dyeing effect in neutral and weak acid conditions. It owns excellent dispersibility and outstanding high-temperature stability, with no agglomeration, screen clogging or crystallization during high-temperature processing, and presents superior levelness and permeability. Copper and iron ions shall be avoided in the dyeing process to prevent shade dullness and deviation. It shows a pure bright orange shade without variegation, maintaining uniform and full color in light, medium and deep dyeing.
Process Compatibility
It is fully compatible with mainstream polyester processing technologies, including 130℃ high-temperature and high-pressure overflow dyeing, thermosol pad dyeing continuous production, and carrier dyeing. It is suitable for dyeing and direct printing of polyester, polyester-cotton and polyester-viscose blended fabrics. It is also the preferred dye for dark color matching and functional fabric finishing, tolerating conventional heat setting and wrinkle-free finishing processes.
Fastness Performance & Application Advantages
It achieves outstanding fastness to light, sublimation and washing, with overall fastness superior to ordinary disperse orange dyes. It has excellent dry and wet rubbing fastness with low floating color and staining tendency, as well as stable resistance to perspiration and ironing. As a core color matching component, it is perfectly compatible with disperse red and disperse blue dyes, stably formulating mainstream dark shades such as gray, coffee, navy and black, serving as an indispensable basic orange dye in textile printing and dyeing formula systems.

Store in a sealed, cool, dry and ventilated warehouse away from light and moisture.
The shelf life is 2 years under normal temperature and sealed storage.
