Product Characteristics
Acid Black 210 is a triazo weakly acidic dye.
Basic Physical and Chemical Properties
1.Water Solubility: Acid Black 210 is soluble in cold water and has better solubility in hot water; it has a high solubility; it is preferentially soluble in soft water and has better stability in hard water environments compared to Acid Black 10B.
2.Organic Solvents: Acid Black 210 is slightly soluble in ethanol; it is insoluble in oil-based solvents such as grease and acetone.
3.pH Range: A weakly acidic dye, the optimal dyeing pH is 4.5 - 6.0 (acetic acid bath), it can color near-neutral conditions, compared to strong acid-based Acid Black 10B, no strong acid is required; in strong alkaline conditions, the dye precipitates.
4.Metal Ion Sensitivity: Acid Black 210 is moderately sensitive to iron ions; when the iron content is high, the color lightness is prone to turn grayish-green; the dyeing equipment is recommended to be made of stainless steel, avoiding cast iron pipes.

Recommended Dyeing Process
Dyeing Temperature: 50 - 55℃
Dyeing Temperature (for leather water dyeing): 90 - 95℃ (55 - 65℃ for leather water dyeing)
Heating Time: 45 - 60 minutes
Boosting Agent: Gypsum; no need for high-concentration sulfuric acid
Evenness: 4 - 5 grades, Acid Black 210 has excellent evenness and penetration performance for dyeing, the deep penetration of leather is good, the color is uniform on the surface and inside of the leather, and it is less likely to cause blackening on the surface and lack of blackness in the leather core.

Sunlight Fastness: 4 - 5 grades
Soap Wash Fastness: 4 - 5 grades
Sweat Fastness: 3 - 4 grades
Dry Friction Fastness: 4 - 5 grades; Wet Friction Fastness: 4 grades
Compared with Acid Black 10B, the core advantages of Acid Black 210: higher wet friction fastness, deeper color, stronger penetration, and better leather coloring effect than Acid Black 10B.
Main Application Domains
1.Leather Industry
Water dyeing for shoe uppers, clothing leathers, gloves leathers, luggage and car interior leathers; Acid Black 210 has a full black color, good penetration, consistent color in the leather core and surface, and is the most widely used black acidic dye in the leather industry.
2.Textile Printing and Dyeing
Dyeing and printing for wool, cashmere, silk, nylon, nylon yarn, and fabric; Acid Black 210 is suitable for dark-colored black fabrics with high requirements for wet friction fastness.
3.Industrial Coloring
Water-based ink, water-based markers, pen ink; good water solubility, dark color; Acid Black 210 is not suitable for oil-based ink for ballpoint pens.

Product advantages
1.A single synthetic dye with stable color reproduction, without the problem of color difference between the head and tail of mixed dyes.
2.Acid Black 210 has high darkness, dark and full black color, with a slight red tint, and is not prone to blueing or greying; it has strong leather penetration and uniform black on both the surface and the inside.
3.Weakly acidic dyeing, no need for strong acid, less damage to wool, silk, and leather fibers.

3.Acid Black 210 is sensitive to iron ions. Poor water quality control during dyeing can easily result in dark and opaque color.
