Nylon Dye Tracid Violet 4BNS Acid Violet 17
Product Characteristics
Tracid Violet 4BNS is a uniform powder ranging from dark bluish green to blue purple, without lumps or impurities.
Basic Physicochemical Properties
1. Color Characteristics: The aqueous solution of Tracid Violet 4BNS presents a bright red-purple color (coral-like color), with a bright and full color.
2. Solubility: Acidic Violet 17 is easily soluble in water (appearing purple) and ethanol (appearing purple-blue); it is slightly soluble in ethylene glycol ethyl ether; it is insoluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ether, and benzene.
3. Ion Nature: Strong anionic type. Acidic Violet 17 is combined with protein fibers through ionic bonds and is suitable for weakly acidic baths (pH 4-6).
4. Color Reaction (Qualitative Identification):
1. In concentrated sulfuric acid: Tracid Violet 4BNS shows a red-yellow color, and becomes light green after dilution.
2. In concentrated nitric acid: It shows a blue-violet color.
3. In water solution + NaOH: The color lightens to a dark purple.
7. Spectral Characteristics: The maximum absorption wavelength (λmax) is approximately 545nm (aqueous solution).
Dyeing Performance and Application Key Points
1. Applicable Fibers: Wool, silk, nylon (nylon) dyeing and direct printing; wool/silk, wool/nylon blended fabrics.
2. Dyeing Process: Weakly acidic bath (pH 4-6, adjusted with acetic acid / ammonium sulfate), 40-50°C for dyeing, heating to 90-95°C for 30-40 minutes of holding time.
3. Dyeing Characteristics:
1. Uniform Dyeing: Excellent, gentle dyeing, and less color bleeding.
2. Affinity: High, Tracid Violet 4BNS has an upper dyeing rate of >85% on protein fibers.
3. Color Matching: Acidic Violet 17 can be used for blending with acid blue for dark blue, navy blue; with acid red for deep purple, coralline; with acid yellow for olive green, brown.
4. Wet Fastness: Excellent (water washing 4-5 grades, sweat staining 4-5 grades).
5. Cross-domain Applications:
1. Leather: Shoe leather, clothing leather, high-hardness coralline / purple coloring for fur.
2. Papermaking: Cultural paper, decorative paper, cigarette paper, card paper coloring.
3. Biological Dyeing: Karmas purple R200, used for protein electrophoresis gel coloring.
4. Others: Electroaluminum, soap, detergent, water-based ink coloring.
