Water Soluble dye Direct Fast Brown GTL Direct Brown 210.

Solubility:

Easy to dissolve in hot water (80°C dissolution degree ≥ 30g/L), slightly soluble in cold water, and the solution is red-brown.

Direct Brown 210 dissolves in ethanol to form a light red-brown color, and does not dissolve in organic solvents such as acetone.

Acid-base stability:

Direct Fast Brown GTL has good alkali resistance: pH 7–11 is stable, suitable for neutral / weakly alkaline dyeing.

In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears blue-black, and after dilution, it forms red-brown precipitate; in concentrated caustic soda, the color tone is slightly blue.

Affinity: Direct Fast Brown GTL has strong affinity for cotton, viscose, hemp, and non-woven fabrics, with the highest dyeing rate at 90–100°C, and good uniformity.

Sun exposure fastness: 4 grades (good), Direct Brown 210 is superior to ordinary direct brown (2–3 grades), suitable for outdoor / sun-resistant requirements.

Water washing fastness: 3–4 grades (good, can reach 4 grades after fixation)

Dry friction: 4 grades; Wet friction: 3–4 grades

Sweat fastness: 3–4 grades

Chlorine bleaching fastness: 3 grades

High sun resistance: 4 grades of sun exposure, Direct Brown 210 far exceeds ordinary direct brown (1/2 / Chestnut Brown N) (2–3 grades), suitable for outdoor textiles

Direct Fast Brown GTL has a bright color: deep red-brown, with sufficient red light, suitable for medium to dark dyeing, and can be combined with coffee, dark brown, and sauce red

Direct Fast Brown GTL has stable dissolution: quick dissolution in hot water, simple materialization, no lumps, suitable for high-temperature dyeing processes

Direct Brown 210 has balanced fastness: excellent water washing / friction / sweat fastness, reducing fixation costs

Compatible: Direct Brown 210 can be combined with direct sun-resistant yellow / red for stable color, with good color reproduction

Cold water insoluble: Direct Fast Brown GTL needs to be dissolved in hot water above 80°C, and cold water materialization is prone to precipitation

Direct Brown 210 is sensitive to hard water: calcium and magnesium ions can cause color spots, recommend soft water + chelating agent

Direct Fast Brown GTL is relatively expensive: more expensive than ordinary direct brown, but lower than high sun-resistant direct brown 95

Textile Printing and Dyeing:

Direct Brown 210 is used for medium to dark sun-resistant brown dyeing in cotton / viscose / hemp (such as curtains, outdoor tents, workwear)

Dyeing of polyester-cotton blends, with stable color

Industrial Coloring:

Direct Fast Brown GTL is used for paper (packaging / art paper), leather, water-based color paste, bamboo and wood fibers
